Gloria G. Shropshire, Director of Curriculum and InstructionGloria G. Shropshire serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the South Pike School District in Magnolia, Mississippi. She is a native of Hattiesburg, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received her Masters in Educational Leadership, and is an active member of the Alumni Association, as well as the Mississippi Professional Educators.

Educationally, Mrs. Shropshire believes that students are of the utmost importance and that it is the duty of all educators to properly prepare students for global challenges. Throughout her career, she has served 12 years in leadership positions, such as: Interim Principal, Assistant Principal, Academic Coach, Academic Interventionist, School Test Coordinator, and Lead Teacher, all which shows she’s quite capable and well-rounded enough to lead a passionate group of educators to the next level! Moreover, Mrs. Shropshire has always proven to be quite instrumental in building morale across the board with administration, faculty, staff, students, parents and the community.

Most of all, Gloria Shropshire wholeheartedly loves her husband Timothy, a native of Magnolia, their three children: TaSharon, Julia, and Joshua, and one grandson, Cameron.
