The SPHS will host cheer try-outs beginning with camps Monday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 3. Try-outs will be Thursday, March 4. The time for each day is 3:45 - 5:00 p.m. Parents will have a mandatory meeting on Monday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m.
The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) has secured approval from Mississippi’s assessment vendors to extend the end of the assessment windows for the spring administration of the statewide assessments. These extensions, along with the early opening of the assessment period, are intended to help you safely administer statewide assessments to all eligible students.

The SPSD Revised District Learning Plan has been updated for the 2020-2021 Spring Semester. Students are expected to return to campuses on January 25, 2021. Please review the attached revised plan as well as schools' websites and social media pages for additional details.
