Our Mission
- Offer technological support to faculty and staff to fulfill the standards established by the Mississippi Department of Education.
- Assist faculty and staff with the use of specific software, including Microsoft Windows OS, Office Suite, Google Workspace for Education, as well as various programs and devices such as desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and other mobile devices.
- Help in obtaining quotes and troubleshooting for services and devices.
- Provide recommendations for services and devices utilized by faculty, staff, and students.
- Manage, service, maintain, repair, and dispose of obsolete devices.
- Ensure network stability and consistent internet uptime.
- Troubleshoot issues related to networking equipment, various district devices, and software applications.

The Acceptable Internet Use Policy for South Pike School District establishes guidelines and standards for internet usage. Here are the key points:
- Purpose: Internet access is for educational, career development, and self-discovery activities, not public access or commercial use.
- Restrictions: Users must not post personal information, engage in cyberbullying, or access inappropriate material.
- Illegal Activities: Unauthorized access, disruption of systems, and other illegal acts are prohibited.
- System Security: Users are responsible for their accounts and must report security issues.
- Inappropriate Language: Obscene or disrespectful language is not allowed.
- Respect for Privacy: Do not share private messages without consent.
- Resource Limits: Use the system for educational purposes only; no spamming or chain letters.
- Plagiarism: Users must not plagiarize or infringe on copyrights.
- Monitoring: Staff will educate and monitor internet usage as per legal requirements, i.e., CIPA.
- Liability: The district is not responsible for errors, data loss, or unauthorized financial obligations.
All district users, including administrators, faculty, and students, are requested to adhere to these policies to maintain a safe and conducive online learning environment.
