We extend our sincere appreciation to Chief Deputy Damian Gatlin for his commitment to education and community outreach. Chief Deputy Gatlin met with 4th- and 5th-grade students to discuss the serious topic of cyberbullying and the importance of speaking up when something doesn’t feel right. He emphasized personal responsibility and safety using the slogan, “See something, say something.” His warm, approachable, and friendly manner helped students feel comfortable asking questions and viewing law enforcement as trusted partners in their community. Chief Deputy Gatlin’s visit helped strengthen positive relationships between students and law enforcement while empowering students to make safe and responsible choices both online and in their daily lives.
