On January 30, 2026, our Osyka Elementary students participated in a
Fit and Fun Character Education experience with Epic Martial Arts.
Epic Martial Arts partnered with Dr. Takesha M. Isaac, Ed.D., Professional
School Counselor, to support the development of the whole child—socially,
emotionally, and physically.
Epic Martial Arts is the premier martial arts organization in
Southwest Mississippi. Their programs are designed to promote physical
fitness, build confidence, address bullying, and teach realistic,
proven self-defense skills. All instruction is provided in a
professional, family-friendly environment that aligns with our school
district’s values and commitment to student well-being.
Our students really enjoyed this engaging and meaningful opportunity.
