Student Services Coordinator

The goal of the Program of Work for Student Services Coordinator is to ensure that students who are qualified for services will be successful. Therefore, we are asked to provide:

• Equal access to Vocational Education programs and Non-Traditional Education/Training

• Identify and assess students and place in special populations categories

• Documentation of services/activities

• Vocational Assessment (interests, aptitudes, abilities, special needs, including non-traditional education/training

• Equal access to services such as: recruitment, enrollment, retention, completion, placement (preparation and support services)

• Be a liaison between academic and vocational instructors, SPED teachers, counselors, administrators, and other agencies

• Transitional-supportive-supplementary services by appropriately certified personnel

• Provide advisement on career development services and refer students for guidance/counseling

• Transitional services to students considering and preparing for enrollment in vocational technical education or non-traditional education/training
