SOUTH PIKE CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER PHILOSOPHY
To provide for every child selected for a career & technical class, regardless of ability, environment, status, or handicapping condition, the opportunity to develop to his/her maximum capacity; to provide training and guidance in a specific occupational area; to develop and encourage in that child behavioral characteristics necessary for successful employment. To encourage every child to become a productive member of society who values life-long learning and has the ability to grow and develop in his/her chosen career field.

South Pike Career & Technical Center
Course Offerings
All *courses are two-year completion courses, and students who enroll are both encouraged and expected to complete both years of the class. All *courses are taught in two-hour blocks and receive two Carnegie Units. *Agriscience classes are 1 unit/1 semester courses.
NOTE: A STUDENT MUST BE 15 YEARS OLD TO ENROLL IN A 2 HOUR BLOCK CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER COURSE AND MUST BE IN THE 10TH GRADE.
The South Pike Career and Technical center is a secondary vocational-technical center serving the students enrolled in the South Pike School District. The South Pike Career and Technical Center is an extension of South Pike High School and works cooperatively with the school to prepare students for their futures. Courses offered at the Career and Technical Center include: Business Management Technology, Early Childhood Services, Health Science, Manufacturing Trades, Construction Trades, and Agricultural-Science Technology.
