Building Trades is designed to instruct the student in carpentry, masonry, introduction to plumbing and electrical wiring.  Students are instructed in use and operation of hand and power tools.  Students study measurement and layout with special emphasis on house framing.  This course is designed to prepare students to enter the world of work or to continue more specialized study after high school.
