This is a course in the role and characteristics of agricultural and related businesses in our economy.  The purpose of this course is to provide a basis for making effective business decisions, setting goals, assessing and solving problems, determining financial progress and success, evaluating the management of resources, and gaining skills useful in everyday life in the diverse fields of agribusiness and entrepreneurship.  Students explore principles in the successful organization and management of businesses as owners, managers, and operators.  (Prerequisite:  Concepts of Agriscience and Science of Environmental Agriculture or Science of Agriculture Plants Grades 11-12; 1 unit)
