It is my pleasure once again to welcome students, parents and staff to a new school year. We must continue to work together to provide outstanding opportunities for every student in the District. They deserve no less than our best efforts. During the past school year, we put into place the first steps of the district’s Restructuring for Effectiveness Action Plan. Working together we were able to implement improvements with both the academic and the facilities sections of the plan. While many steps have been completed, there is still work to be done. During the course of the 2009-2010 school session, we will continue to monitor our progress toward the accomplishment of the identified goals and objectives. The students of South Pike School District thank you for your time, energy and caring toward the development of this most important plan.
