Career and Technical Eduacation is a very important component of the students education experience at the South Pike School District. It is our desire and goal to make the learning experiences that your child have while under our watch both meaningful and worthy of their time. In today's global society, we must prepare every student to be ready to enter the workforce or continue their education on the post secondary level. I invite all parents to check out the offerings of Career and Technical education and encourage your child to explore one of the career fields that we offer at our center.

Congratulations to David Huff for scoring a 72 on the NCCER (National Center for Construction Education & Research) Baseline Test in Welding II.
The NCCER offers curricula in over 70 different craft areas and more than 80 different assessments. When you successfully complete training, assessments and/or performance verifications through an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor or Assessment Center, NCCER Registry's System records your completions and issues the appropriate credentials. It is these portable, industry-recognized credentials that many industry leaders look for when making employment decisions.
