Eva Gordon Elementary third -grade students participated in Body Walk at the National Guard Armory of  McComb in December. Students learned about many body parts and were able to walk into many of the exhibits.

The Family Event of the Reading Fair was held in December.  In January the Individual and Group divisions were judged.  Winners who continue to district competition include Kindergarten ,Warrick Cook; Grade 1, Beyonce Coney; Grade 2, Destyni Bowie; Grade 3, Lynn Coleman; Group Projects, Mrs. Robinson’s class; and Family Projects, Dana Jackson.  Winners from each division competed in district competition in February.

 

Muffins with Mom was held in January at Eva Gordon Elementary for our second graders. Approximately 37 moms, aunts, and/or grandmothers attended.

 

The Scholastic Book Fair at Eva Gordon Elementary was March 5 – 8.  On March 6th, second

graders  put on the music program Lemonade.  The final RIF distribution will be April 16 – 18, 2007.

A Christmas musical program,  A Teddy Bear Christmas, was presented by Eva Gordon kindergarten students under the direction of music teacher Mrs. Deana Stone.
