Eva Gordon Elementary News

 

The first grade has been decorated with a jungle theme.  Stop by and check this out. 

 

Teachers have been involved in DOK (Depth of Knowledge) training, MLAF (Mississippi Language Arts Framework) training and Math framework training.

 

Mrs. Huey’s third grade class has a display outside their room showing different type communities which they have studied in their social studies class.

 

Mrs. Reeves’ second grade class has a picnic after reading Frog and Toad.  In Frog and toad the characters have a picnic.

 

New playground equipment has been added  to our playground

 

Eva Gordon now has preschool program under the direction of Mrs. Brittany Raybon.  There are 15 students currently enrolled.

 

 

 

Hat Day

 

After reading The Hat, first grade recently celebrated “Hat Day” by wearing hats to school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                   

 

 

 

 

Thanks to everyone who helped make our Scholastic Book Fair successful.  Proceeds will be used to purchase supplies, resource books for teachers, and books for the library.
