Teachers at South Pike Junior High make the difference. Pictured above are teachers, Mr. Morris and Ms. Todd, working with the Men of Valor on events which occurred in history. Going the extra mile for student learning remains the utmost priority for all faculty.
Effective July 2013, change came to the junior high. Iscinova D. Gray became the principal. Since that time, many new and exciting changes have been made. With the input of the faculty, students, and parents, students are now enjoying a twenty minute recess, pre-game pep rallies, new clubs, and other activities. In addition, parents are welcomed and invited to visit. While there are safety restrictions, we invite stakeholders to become a partner in achieving the success that we all desire.
During the first quarter, SPJH has held a fantastic Open House and Parent Night. In order to keep parents informed, we have begun using our All Call system to alert the community concerning important dates and times. A quarterly letter from the principal is also sent.
Our motto is “Teamwork makes the dream work!”
