North Pike,
Fall Pictures will be taken
Monday, September 14, 2009. Students are
allowed to dress-out for picture day. If
you plan on purchasing a picture package, you must bring your money and the
envelope that was issued to you by your a-Block teacher.
The
Cheerleaders and Football Trainers are to be dismissed at 2:45 to Mrs.
Greenwood’s room today. They are as
follows: Kimberlyn

All
members of the softball team need to report to the coliseum at 7:15 in the morning
for departure to McComb.
Students
that are interested in joining TACA can pick up an application from Mrs, Leavy. If you are a former member, then you must
complete a new application also.
SATP
Saturday tutoring will be each Saturday beginning Aug. 15th thru
Sept. 19th from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Transportation will not be
provided.
After
School tutoring will be each Monday and Tuesday beginning Aug. 24th
from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Transportation will be provided. Tutoring will take place in the
assigned teacher’s classroom from 3:30 to 5:00 beginning August 25, 2009.

Students
that took any SATP in the spring of 2009 and failed the test will be retested
on the following dates: September 21 –

Teachers
There will
be a faculty meeting for all certified staff afterschool Tuesday, September 15,
2009 in the library.
Teachers,
you are not to send any student to ISS. You
are to send them to the office with a discipline report and the administrators
will decide if they are to go to ISS. Only an administrator can send a student to
ISS.
Courtesy
dues are being accepted. If you wish to
contribute, please see Mrs. Roberson or Mrs. Martin.
Teachers and Club Sponsors, you are not to
attach posters to painted surfaces. If
you do, they will be removed by the custodians.
Group B is on duty this week and you are to be signed in and on your
posts by 7:20.
All teachers are to be signed in
no later than 7:30 each morning. Teachers shall sign in and out daily. If you must
leave the campus during the school day you should sign out through the office.
The dress code for students is to be enforced daily. Hoods and head
rags shall not be worn by students in your classrooms.
All teachers need to be standing in their doorway between bells to
monitor student activity.
Teachers,
only write hall passes when absolutely necessary. The hall pass shall
include (date, time and destination). Allowing students to leave
your room and your supervision can be a liability. If a student is out of your class and in
another class, they should have a pass from you to that class. When that student returns, they should have a
pass from where you gave them a pass to.
