ADMINISTRATION

WARREN A. BANKS

Principal

I believe that as educators and school leaders, it is our responsibility to develop and create learning environments which will reach each child we are responsible for teaching.  Every student who attends school is capable of learning, but not at the same pace or same way.  Teachers must inspire a student to become better.  The expectation for learning must be high in order to prepare students for life after graduation.  Although, many students will face problems in college, the workplace, and relationships; it is our responsibility to teach students to think critically and to solve problems.  We must provide all students with the opportunity to succeed beyond the classroom.  It is our duty to continuously improve the way we educate our children.

We believe that all members of the South Pike High School family are committed to the education and development of children through school, community, and family relationships.

ROCHELLE WEATHERSPOON

Assistant Principal, Algebra I

Having been affiliated with the South Pike School System for more than twenty years, I understand the awesome opportunities afforded to our students.  When I was chosen to become part of  the leadership for this great school, I saw a chance to give back to students the love and support my mentor (Willie Earl Jones and Bobby Nelson) gave to me.  South Pike High will do well this year and many more years, because we have determined students and an excellent lead of educators.

Instructional Strategist, English III
