The mission of the South Pike School District is to provide equal educational opportunity and excellence in learning for all students. To accomplish this mission, the faculty and staff believe that all children can learn. It places emphasis on quality instruction and pupil achievement.

In-service training is the result of planned professional development programs. These programs are being used to enhance instruction. The faculty and staff will take an active part in these professional development activities to make sure that they maintain their level of expertise in education.
The school system’s duty is to guide, encourage, and stimulate students in acquiring knowledge and formulating patterns of living so that he/she can become productive citizens of the community, state, and nation. The school system will provide a flexible curriculum that will meet individual needs. The curriculum will provide programs designed for both college-bound students as well as those who will enter the labor market.
